Coming soon: Ranorex Recorder and Ranorex V1.1.0

We will release the next Ranorex version V1.1.0 with the first alpha of the new Ranorex Recorder in some weeks. The Release Version of the Recorder records, replays user actions and generates source code for an executable C++, C# command line application or for a Python script.

The Recorder saves the same information which RanorexSpy shows for every user action and uses the core functionality to replay the recorded data or to create source code.

The first alpha version of the Recorder offers the following features:

• Record and play back mouse movements and keyboard strokes
  
• Saving of recorded data to a binary file
  
• Loading recorded data from a binary file
  
• Generating a runnable C# code from the recorded data (a C# command line application)

New Features in Ranorex V1.1.0:

• New FormFind function for searching of windows with title and class name
  
• Regular Expression support
  
• ExitKey function to quit a running script by a specified shortcut key
  
• MouseMoveToControl function with position and move time
  
• MouseMoveToElement function with position and move time
  
• MouseClickControl function with position, click count and move time
  
• MouseClickElement function with position, click count and move time

Bug Fixes in Ranorex V1.1.0:

• TreeViewSelectPath error corrected
  
• RanorexSpyPro: all control texts can be copied now into clipboard
  
• RanorexSpy: cosmetic error by showing the handle has been corrected

We decided to finish the next version first.
We will release the Ranorex version V1.1.0 next week.

I think we can release the first Beta of the Recorder in about two (or three) weeks.
