Data components in the windows form designer : Bug Reports

Hello there,

i think this is an issue as i could not find a workaround to the problem.

When i load the Windows Form Designer the Tools window shows as the following:


Meaning no components from the Data group (BindingNavigator, BindingSource, DataNavigator, DataGrid, DataGridView, DataSet and DataView) are being displayed.

When i go into the "Configure Sidebar" form i see that the components are actually selected:


But infact i cannot use them from the Tools window.
Is this some configuration im missing or an actual issue ?

Hello Ricardo,

You are correct there does seem to be an issue with the Data group.

We will fix the issue in the next release. Until then just remove the DataNavigator from the configuration and this will solve the problem.

The DataNavigator is not a UI designer component and should not be in the list. It is preventing the Data group from being loaded.
