DevX in Desktop .Net application : Automation Tools

Hi,

I am evaluating Ranorex tool for our product range. Our company is having Desktop as well as Web application. Our control are having Devx as well as Janus.
Now I am evaluating on .Net Desktop application with DevX controls.
I have started but not able to see DeveX or any objects in Repository (I am able to see when I operate on windows Calculator application).
Do I need to select any particular category while adding new project or any additional add in required for DevX?
I am using Ranorex Studio 2.3.6.10664

Please help to get successful evaluation so that I can propose the same in our company. We have already evaluated QTP and Test Complete but found not up to mark

Hi Anand!

Ranorex supports DevExpress 3rd party controls as long as there exists a MSAA implementation for the control. So to analyse the issue for your particular case it would be helpful if you could send us a snapshot (see 'How to work with Ranorex Snapshot files': http://www.ranorex.com/support/user-gui ... html#c2072) from your AUT.
