FileMaker Pro : Object Identification and Technologies

Hi,

I'm currently evaluating Ranorex 3.0 for a client who is using FileMaker pro. Is Ranorex compatible with it? I tried to track elements within a FM form using Ranorex Spy but it couldn't track elements individually.

Record and replay worked fine however if any form element changes I think Ranorex scripts would fail.

Can anyone confirm this please?

Hi,

Thank you for the snapshot. This control seems to have no real accessibility. It seems to be a Legacy Control and therefore please try to use the GDI Plugin to automate your form.

The better solution would be to ask your developers if they add accessibility for this controls. Therefore please take a look to following blog
