Hi,
I'm using Ranorex to test Flex applications. Use the first way(PreLoader) to load the Automation Lib.
I encounter an issue that Ranorex Spy can't identify item of List Popup.
Maybe it is caused by there are another two dialog also existing at the same time. Please see screenshot for detail.
My environment:
OS: Windows XP x64
Ranorex: 3.1.2
Ranorex Spy: 32bit and 64bit
Browser: Internet Explorer 8 and Firefox 7.0.1
Flash player: debug version 11

Hi,
Do you have tried to use the Instant Tracking functionality of the Spy tool to track the List Pop Up?
Can you please send us a snapshot of the entire application?
Just click on the root element and create a snapshot.

does the issue only occur at this single combo box or have you mentioned it on others too?
Can you tell us, which flex version is used within your application under test?
We can provide you a special preloader with extended logging mechanism to find out more about your issue, if you want.

Yes. I only found this single ComboBox that can't be identified by now.
I don't know what Flex version we are using.

we've tried to reproduce your issue, but had no success with doing so.
Can you please provide us access to the application you're having your issues with, as that's the only possibility to find a fitting solution for your problem.
You might give us access to some kind of sandbox environment as long as the issue is reproducible.
Please provide us the specific information how to access via our support mailbox (support@ranorex.com).

The bug will be fixed within Ranorex 3.2.1 which will be available within January 2012.
