Forum Issue with Selecting Text in the Post Edit Box

Postby Ciege » Mon Jun 14, 2010 5:39 pm

When I enter a lot of text or there is a lot of reply text in the edit box on the forum (when creating a new post or replying to a post), if I try to select text from a couple of lines from the top down to the bottom the scroll bar on the edit box does not behave. It does not stay focused on the line I am trying to select.
Not sure if this is an issue with my specific browser (IE 8 ) or OS (Windows 7 Ultimate) but it makes editing posts in the forum quite a hassle.

It does not seem to happen in my IE 7 browser from a VM Windows XP machine but it does occur on another Windows 7 Ultimate VM with IE8.

I have attached a quick vide of the issue. All I do in this video is paste some long text in, scroll to the top then mouse down to select text. As I keep the left mouse down and scroll down then edit box does not let me scroll to the bottom of the text...

Any ideas?
