Hi,

Just thought I'd mention that with 3.0.3 install, if you only install for API use (Main components and IE add-on), upon completion of the install, there is a check box displayed to launch the recorder. Obviously, I didn't install it, so this option should not be displayed.

Ranorex Spy and Recorder are always installed together with the Ranorex Runtime; currently, you cannot deselect their installation. You can only select not to install Ranorex Studio (which really makes a difference in the size of the installation). So the check box shown after the installation is finished is correct.

BTW Ranorex 3.0.4 has already been released:

You are right, seems there is something wrong with the launch conditions
