Object properties are not available : General Questions

I am clicking on "Properties" button for objects from Object Repository but nothing happens - no Properties screen. The same thing from drop down menu on the object it self (right button click).

Hi,

Which Ranorex and OS version do you have installed?
Do you mean that the properties screen is empty or that you really don not see the properties screen at all?
Do you have tried to view the properties of the elements in the recording window?
Can you try to open the properties screen by clicking on the View and then on the Properties menu item or with pressing the "F4" key?

After comp restart it works now. I really do not know what it was.

I am having the same problem in Ranorex 3.1

The properties window does not even appear for repo objects or recording steps. I have tried rebooting and re-installing Ranorex but the issue remains

I was able fix this issue by selecting 'Reset to Defaults' in the Layout combo box at the top of the application
