I am using Ranorex since some days. Today I noticed that RanorexSpy has problems with spying form controls user, password to access freemail on www.web.de. I occurs with Firefox 1.5.0.7 but not with IE 6.0.2900.2180.
If I use Firefox and use the link to freemail login "ohne SSL" (link is placed right to the login button) the user gets to another login page. Here RanorexSpy works with the form controls offered by this page.
Please check if this is a RanorexSpy issue. Thanks.
It's not a RanorexSpy issue. The problem is that some items on the "web.de" page are dynamically generated through javascript.
The Firefox Browser renders dynamically controls and you cannot access them.
You should use Internet Explorer to automate your webpages.
The IE uses standard Windows controls and supports Active Accessibility so you can automate almost everything!
It works also with Internet Explorer 7.
