Recording works but Run Project not : General Questions

Newby question; hopefully some easy solution to this problem

I have created a Project with recording. When I launch the software under test and Play the recording, Ranorex finds the button and everything works.

But when I Run Project (program.cs launches the software under test) and recording should start, it does not find the button. (ElementNotFoundException).

When selected Item and Highlight repository item, it is found.

Path is the same when checked with RanorexSpy.

What could be the problem?
