Register.exe v1.3.0 fails on Vista box

Hi,

I get the following error when trying to run Register.exe for Ranorex v1.3.0 on a Vista32 box:

"This application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail."

I don't know what application log the error is referring to.

UAC is off.

What do I need to do to register my copy of Ranorex on this machine?

Sorry for the inconvenience.

RanorexRegister was depending on a MFC DLL.
We made a new version without MFC, please download and try this version from the same URL you downloaded the msi installer:

http://www.ranorex.com/download/your_path/RanorexRegister.exe
