Search and Search/Replace is slow : Bug Reports

Using Ranorex 3.0 in Windows 7
When I do a search of my solution it can take up to 3-5 seconds to return, during which I cannot do anything else. However if I do a "Find References" on an item it returns in milliseconds and gives me the results I am looking for most of the time. I can't think of any time I'd do a search and want results that were in the *.rxep files.
Indexing might be helpful here as the search function seems to be eating up a lot of processing power of my computer as well.

I've just used the search functionallity and had no such issues.
Actually Ranorex uses SharpDevelop as Development Environment and also uses the search functionallity of this tool.
