Software crash : Bug Reports

Hi,

We implemented accessibility in our software at least a year ago and recently have been noticing more crashes in our software than usual. While debugging the crash ( which is random ) I found a crash that occurs in wincore.cpp on a method with the signature:
HRESULT CWnd::XAccessible::get_accChildCount(long *pcountChildren)

wincore is located in "C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\atlmfc\src\mfc\wincore.cpp". Our software utilizes MFC and I was wondering if this is a known issue or if anyone knows what could be causing this crash.

This is unfortunately no known issue, but it is likely that Ranorex uses the specific "HRESULT CWnd::XAccessible::get_accChildCount(long *pcountChildren)" methode during test execution.
That we can help you we will need more information about the circumstances, the crash (error message, ...) and we would need the stack trace?
Which Ranorex version and .NET version are you using?
