URLs with spaces : Bug Reports

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to test a local web application, which URL has some spaces, like this: "\\localhost\RanorexTests\TestResults\abcdef_CONTROLLER 2012-01-10 15_01_40\Out\page.html"

When I try to open the page on IE, it opens the browser but it doesn't open any page.
On Firefox, it opens 3 pages: "file://///localhost/RanorexTests/TestResults/abcdef_CONTROLLER", "http://www.2012-01-10.com/" and "http://www.15_01_40.com/Out/page.html"
And on Chrome, it has the same behavior as Firefox...

Is this by design?

EDIT: Btw, I can workaround this in a million ways; I'm just reporting something strange but not that severe

Hi,

This depends on the browser. Each browser resolves the URLs a bit different, therefore you have the different behavior. To check this you can copy your URL directly into to address bar and you will see the behavior.
