VB controls in excel are not getting captured in OR : General Questions

Hi,

We have been doing a POC for one of our applications using Ranorex.

We need to use some VB controls which is embedded in excel. While recording, these controls are not getting captured in object repository.

Please suggest any work around for this.

Hi,

We was able to reproduce it and it seems if you have an froze pane in your worksheet Ranorex is not able to detect the correct visible state of the controls. Meanwhile please add you controls to your repository using the spy and manually create your recordings.
We will try to fix that issue and we will release it with one of the next versions of Ranorex.
