Upcoming Flash/Flex Test Automation Plug-in

By the end of April 2009, Ranorex extends its multiple technology support in Test Automation with the Adobe Flex Plug-in.

Based on the flexible plug-in mechanism the Ranorex tool set functionality grows automatically. It also supports identification and test automation for Adobe Flex applications.

• Test automation of all types of Adobe Flex controls
• RanoreXPath identification using Flex specific attributes (AutomationName, Id, Type, etc.)

Image Processing

Also part of the upcoming version will be an intelligent image processing engine to identify objects based on graphical screen information.

• More automation flexibility within owner drawn GUI controls
• Simple validation mechanism based on screen information
