All Ranorex licenses are machine-bound. After registration each license can be used perpetual on the registered machine. All currently available packages minimally contain the Ranorex library.

Does Ranorex come with some sort of license server?
No. Ranorex licenses are bound to the computer's host name and have to be activated via the internet. Also, offline activation is possible using a license file provided by Ranorex.How does your registration process work?
After purchasing a Ranorex license, you'll automatically receive an email containing a license authentication key for each license you've ordered. After downloading and installing the Ranorex package, you're required to use the provided authentication key(s) to register your license. Both runtime and development machines require valid Ranorex licenses.Will the license continue to work if the hard drive must be replaced or the memory will be upgraded?
Yes. It does not matter if you're changing the hardware configuration of your system after registration of Ranorex software.
