How to add source files, resource files and other File types to your project

To add a new or an existing file item to a project, select the context menu item 'Add'. Use this dialog to add new Ranorex recording or repository file. Additionally the dialog provides additional options for adding different types of source files.

File templates from C# and VB provide various types of files which contain a framework for classes, interfaces or structures.

Resource or simple text files are included in the 'Misc' folder.

In addition to Ranorex specific files, it is also possible to add documents or other file types to a Ranorex project. To add a user specified file, select context menu item 'Add' | 'Existing Item...'. Ranorex recordings or repositories can also be added using the toolbar buttons available in Ranorex Studio.
