Ranorex Studio release announcement

We are pleased to announce the general availability of Ranorex Studio 9.3.2. New and existing users may download this latest version from the Ranorex website.

Creating automated tests is a confusing and tedious process for most quality assurance teams. Ranorex Studio uses world-class UI object recognition to make this process powerful and easy to use across a variety of different platforms. Ranorex Studio users can record, maintain, and run automated tests in a fraction of time compared to other automated test suites and manual testing applications. Ranorex Studio also has a powerful API that allows more flexibility for teams who prefer to code their automated tests.

We’re excited to announce that in this release we will now support JxBrowser 7.1 which will allow us to intercept mouse and keyboard events before they are sent to the web page. This enables users to automate the fine-tuned details of an end user’s experience (like when a mouse is clicked or moved or as information is typed into the keyboard) via Ranorex Studio’s advanced object recognition capabilities.

In this release we also addressed several customer-facing issues:

  • Updates to the mobile-device auto-discovery ports which enables Ranorex Mobile to discover and attach to more phones (like Huawei and new OS versions that may be released in the future) and create more tests to run on them
  • Updates to RxBrowser that allows mobile automated testing support for the latest IOS versions
  • Users can now use the multi-select and delete functionality for UI screenshots
  • Updates to the API documentation for better usability

Look for upcoming blog posts highlighting specific improvements that we will be rolling out in the coming months. Sneak peek: be on the lookout for enhanced reports, easier test script troubleshooting, plus Studio and Mobile usability and quality improvements.
