if you only change the value of a parameter for a User Code step inside a recording, the recording file is not changed. You have to change something else inside the file first for Ranorex to recognize the change and update the file accordingly.
As you can see in the attached screenshots, there is no "*" indicating a change to the file after changing the parameter value and the code is indeed not changed if you look at it.
This occured in version 5.2.3.22439 of Ranorex with the .NET Runtime Version 4.0.30319.34209.

First, if you make changes in the *.UserCode.cs file, it WILL NOT show a change in the *.rxrec file. Only the UserCode file changed, so only it will show an update. The screenshot you posted doesn't show whether the UserCode file was marked as changed. I have not found anything with this to be a problem at any point previously, and I do a lot of UserCode manipulation.
Second, please update Ranorex to 5.3.2, or at least 5.2.4, which is the latest bug patch for the 5.2.x series.
