again: How to delete unused variables

Post by woha » Thu Feb 20, 2020 11:41 am

this theme was discussed in some postings, but nothing has a solution for this issue.

I created in a recording an action "Get value" to get the Text of a Field into a variable. So i used in column "Variable" "As new variable..". Created on as named "$tmpDomainName". Ups, i dont like this var and used in the dropdown box an other var. After this, the "tmp"-Var is there forever. I cant get rid of it and so sad, i have an unbound counter in the overview. I am sure there was no reference anywhere to the "tmp" Variable.
Look on the attachment please.

You can delete unused vars via Variables editor. In recording table, click Variables button. Then select unused variable you want to delete (icon must be grayed out) and delete it. That's all.
