Agent shows as unavailable in studio on WiFi

Post by dmconsulting1 » Thu Feb 20, 2020 10:55 pm

I noticed if I am on the company wifi the agent shows as unavailable. But I can run tests against the agent if calling it from the command line.

Why?

Hi,

Unfortunately, it's hard to say what's wrong without seeing the problem in "action". There appears to be an "unexpected error" in Remote tab. Have you examined the details? And have you tried to reinstall the agent? BTW, make sure the agent is from the same version of Ranorex!

And again, the agent itself seems to be fine. I can run tests against it from the command line and TFS runs tests against it regardless. It's just Ranorex Studio that seems to think there is an issue. I might try a different wifi network in the office (it seems there are 2).
