any plans for editing and debugging with the recorder?

Or put another way, any plans to make an IDE?
Scintilla is great and could be used for editing of source and it would also be great to edit actions and their attributes.

This and debugging ability are the big desires my management has for Ranorex.

Thanks for a great product and clean API.

At present, we do not plan to make the RanorexRecorder a fully featured IDE. There are many different IDEs out there and every developer has its own favourite.

So, our approach will rather be to facilitate the interoperability of IDEs and Ranorex, in particular the RanorexRecorder, e.g. by a Visual Studio PlugIn.

Right now, if you want an IDE for you Ranorex python scripts, you could use PythonWin. Just copy the scripts generated by the RanorexRecorder to the PythonWin editor that will then support editing the code and debugging.
