Auto-binding problems

Post by mapa » Fri Jun 09, 2017 12:32 pm

I tried to figure out how the auto-bind functionality is working but could´t find antything on your homepage. Currently i named the variables in the excel file the same way as the variables in ranorex.
Should it work that way ?

Hi,

Yes, if the name of variable is the same as column name in data connector, then yes, auto-bind should bind the matching variables/columns. However, are you sure the modules are inside the test case/smart folder with mentioned data connector? What Ranorex version do you use?

I currently use the version 7.0.1. And yes both modules are included test testcase where the dataconnector is assigned to. But i´ll see if i can set up a simple solution to test the issue again locally.
