BUG : repository "disappear" when closing tabs

I see version 5 is now out. Has this issue been resolved yet as it continues to cause me loss of work!

I did not test the 5.0 yet but according to "What's new" this issue should be fixed...
Fixed a bug which caused the repository view to be empty if a recording with the same repository was closed and both files were under SVN version control

You are right! Actually the bug is resolved within Ranorex 5.0.0.

Hello all,

Do you know how to workaround with this bug, I mean, how to avoid the situation with disappearing repository for the previous releases. I tried to disable the History tab in Ranorex Studio but it didn't help. I wonder how to close tab in a way other than using context menu (RMB -> Close). If I use ALT + F4 I close the whole Ranorex Studio, but the tab is still open.

I’m afraid that you used the wrong key shortcut. Please try to use CTRL + F4 instead of ALT + F4
