Cannot reach code modules

Post by ElSticky » Wed Dec 11, 2013 12:09 pm

I'm trying to send an e-mail with the results of my tests attached. I'm following this thread http://www.ranorex.com/forum/send-mail- ... 56-15.html to do this but I can't reach the code in the SendMail module in Program.cs, though the namespace in the code of Program.cs is the one of my project.

As you can see on the attached screenshot I put the code module in the folder 'Code Modules'. But I'm not able to use it in other classes

Ok this was being caused by the code module not being in the same namespace. I'm able to reach te code now but I would like to send an e-mail with just the HTML-file. Is it possible to have the project configured in a way that you don't need the DATA file combined with HTML (rxlog)?

Hello

If you check the source code of a report you will see it's not html at all which means you need the data file. (The SupportTeam already answered that question somewhere on the forum but I can't find it)

Hello,

In general the RanorexReport needs the *.data file, but you can, for example send only the test results via email.
There are a lot of posts in the forum how to send the report via e-mail. Two of them can be found below.
