Clearing cache with Open Browser Action

Dear all,

i have a question regarding de the Open Browser Action.

When i set the properties of this action to Clear Cache True, i get an error message once i run my test case, telling me that the access path 'data_0' is denied.

I tried to run Ranorex in Administrator mode but i still get the same error message.

Any ideas ?

Hello EDR_CB,

May I ask against which browser (+ version) you are executing the OpenBrowser()-action? Additionally, please let us know which version of Ranorex you are currently using.

Hi ,

I have the same issue with Chrome and Open Browser + clear cache.

Ranorex Version 5.4.4.26486

Chrome Version 49.0.2623.110 m

@ Kanius when this happened was your chrome browser still opened in the background?

No , all chrome instance was close but it's not happening every time.

I have deactivated the Setting : System - continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed.

Hi Kanius,

This error message appears if you start an OpenBrowser-action without administrator privileges.
Please launch Ranorex Studio as administrator and try to run this action again.
If this doesn't work for you i would suggest to send us an email to [email protected].
