Hi,
I am new to Ranorex and using the trial version to evaluate if this will meet our needs. I have a simple project that is starting the Win8 Metro Music app, navigating to my music, right click, open file, and select a file to play.
When I run my compiled exe (run as administrator) from windows it opens the start menu then fails finding the Metro Music element. The failure element is not the problem since I got pass this failure element by starting the app (command) instead of clicking the element. Then it fails later, after several clicks, it cant find the file element.
From within the Ranorex studio I can click "Run" from within the test suite and it runs fine. I can also click the "run compiled exe" button on the menu and it runs fine.
Im not sure what files are needed for debug, I have attached some from my project folder.

There could be several reasons why your test failed.
