Copy/Paste from XPath edit field

Copy/Paste from XPath edit field

Is there any way to copy/paste from the XPath edit field in the Spy tool. XPath statements are very long and this would help immensely.

Also, since the XPaths are very long, it would be a nice feature to have a panel that displays the entire path on the screen

Sure, highlight the whole field or just the part you are interested in and hit CTRL-C to copy it.
Then, you can CTRL-V to paste it anywhere else.

Thanks. I was using Ctrl and Shift Insert, which doesn't work.

Hi

This doesn't work for me.

Probably a dumb question as I just started using the spy but for the life of me, I cant figure out how to copy and paste the RXPath expression. It just doesnt work. I highlight the path, type CTRL-c, then CTRL-v and nothing happens. I have version 4.0.1.21107

Is there a trick?
Please help.
