Hi,
I'm testing our application in two different browsers (IE and Firefox).
In some cases, GUI elements are identified differently by the browsers.
For example I have a popup message wich is identified in IE with this path:
//*[@text='System Configuration finished!']
In Firefox it uses this path:
//*[@innertext='System Configuration finished']
In IE the "text" attribute is used and in Firefox it is the "innertext" attribute.
How can I set up a cross browser test like you discribe it in the blog, if the GUI items are identified differently?

Would it be possible to post us a Ranorex Snapshot of both elements? Then we can try to find a RxPath for you which works for both browser.Hermch wrote:How can I set up a cross browser test like you discribe it in the blog, if the GUI items are identified differently?
