Data binding of 2 files in variable arrays not in line-per-line-strings

Post by Sven » Fri Mar 19, 2021 7:44 pm

I've got 2 CSV-files and I want to work with data binding to variables as arrays, not as single strings. How can I do that?
In the moment I find a way to get a data binding line per line only.

What I want to do:
Prepare one file and after that compare with the other file. Than I want to find all lines, that I didn't found in the other file. I think it's smart to put this lines in the report.
It's possible that some lines aren't similar in both files.

Background:
I want to check an import program, that generate a table in a database after reading a file, that it got. After an update the imported data could be wrong. It's not enough to say "it's not the same", I have to know, what lines I have to check.

Hi,

I'm not quite sure what exactly you want to do with data bindings and variables. However, comparing two CSV files is something I'm using rather frequently in my projects. Please check my post here:

Hope this helps a bit? ;) Don't hesitate to ask if you have more questions.
