Element Identification in Powerpoint Slide

Post by Dredgewood » Mon Aug 05, 2019 2:05 pm

Hi,

Wondering if it is possible to identify elements on a powerpoint slide using Ranorex? I saw an old forum post asking this (2014) , but wondering if

1) there have been any changes that may allow identification of elements
2) if so - HOW to identify slide elements

Many thanks

Hi,

I'm afraid that there is nothing new regarding identification of PP slide elements. The only workaround may be the one you probably already found here:

Please add these details to your questions:
  • Ranorex Snapshot. Learn how to create one >here<
  • Ranorex xPath of problematic element(s)
  • Ranorex version
  • OS version
  • HW configuration
