Error,could not find the alert window object

Hi

When I test a flex web page, and there is an alert dialog in the flash object,

but the Ranorex could not identify it? what's problem?

Are you able to identify the alert dialog with the Spy tool?
Do you have instrumented flex as described in the following link?

Yes, I already installed the instrument.

And it could record and get the alert dialog object, but when I run the test case, it complains that could not find the object.

Any problem with the repository for the object??

Hi,

Please send us a Ranorex Snapshot file of the specific Dialog and the RxPath which you are using in your project to close the alert dialog.
Following link will show you how to generate a snapshot file.
If you do not want to upload it here, you can also send it to our support mail address: [email protected].
Do you have checked with Spy if the error dialog has still the same RxPath as the used/saved one, maybe the RxPath changes after each pop up?
