Hi,
I was following the instruction to add Microsoft COM library reference to my project.
http://www.ranorex.com/blog/data-driven ... with-excel
However I got the the following message:
Error loading code-completion information for Excel from Excel:
Could not find assembly file.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE15\MSO.dll
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15\Excel.exe
I see the following errors in the output window:
${res:MainWindow.CompilerMessages.CreatingCOMInteropAssembly}
Build started.
Build finished successfully. (00:00:00.4783367)
Error loading code-completion information for Excel from Excel:
Could not find assembly file.
but in the references folder, I do see Excel and office references are added?
Will I get an issue for my coding to reference the dll? I am using Ranorex 5.3.0.22324.
Thanks,
Betty

Hi,
The blog post is obsolete since Ranorex 3.0. There is no need to add Excel references to Ranorex, because Ranorex has built-in support for Excel-based data driven automation. Just follow the data driven testing chapter from Ranorex user guide...
