Firefox: Typing words in the search window skips letters

I have been facing this issue for sometime now. Please note that the same issue does not occur in Chrome.

In my application, I have to type words in the search window to find an asset.
In Firefox, using Ranorex, some letters does not get typed in the search window.
e.g., if the word is "Hardware purchases". Ranorex types in Harwr puhses

I even tried using key sequence to type in each letter. But to no vain.

I am using Windows 8.1 Pro
Using Ranorex 7.2.0

But please note that I have been facing this issue even in the older versions of Ranorex.

Hi,

At first, Ranorex 7.2 is pretty old and no longer supported. So I would suggest to try the latest Ranorex version (8.3) and of course, don't forget to update the FF plugin too! Another thing you might try is changing "Delay before pressing a key sequence" (Settings >> Advnaced tab). In your case, it may be required to increase that delay? Hope this helps?
