Global params and default values across multiple run config:
Can we have the default values for global parameters change per run configuration? Would this be useful to others and maybe if it's not a feature, can we request it to be?

I'm afraid there's currently no such feature. I would suggest posting this idea on our Ranorex Uservoice platform, which can be found under the following link: https://uservoice.ranorex.com
This allows other Ranorex users to vote for your feature request. The more users vote for this feature, the more likely it will be considered for implementation.
As a workaround, you could set the corresponding global parameters via the command line as described in our user guide.
