Hello Ranorex-Support,
to handle the content of grids (e.g.to validate), we want to read out the content of cells. It works on cells with values, but not on cells of row/column headers. There Accessible Value is empty. Do you know a way, to solve the problem? A snapshot is attached and a screenshot of the grid.
Regards,
Uwe

Re: HeaderLabel-Recognition in Grids
Hi Uwe,
It seems that these headers have a different Accessibility representation, I am curiously what is different to the other cells which can be identified quite well.
In general, Ranorex needs a valid Accessibility implementation to identify the elements and its attributes, so checking the implementation would be the first thing you can check.
It would also be possible to use InvokeRemotely to get the values of the headers but I would at first check the Accessibility implementation.
Additionally, here are some links to related Ranorex blogs: Enabling automation for 3rd party controls by adding Accessibility and Transfering data to and from a .NET control.
I hope this will help you to find a solution for this issue!

Markus
