How does the Ranorex Spy get the elements of the subinterface?

Post by OPT-Liuxm » Tue Feb 23, 2021 2:54 am

Hi,
If a test application has a main interface and different sub-interfaces, how do I use Ranorex Spy to get all the interface elements?

Because the sub-interface needs to be displayed through the click operation.

But there are too many subscreens. What should I do?

thank you.

Hi,

I'm afraid, I don't quite understand what exactly is your problem? Could you please describe it in more details, ideally, with some screenshots? If the interface you want to automate is accessible after some mouse clicks, then you definitely need to automate all required UI clicks. If the interface is some kind of popup window, which disappears after the mouse is dragged out of the given interface, you may need to use Instant Tracking feature:
