How to add custom recording module templates?

Hi how do you add custom recording module templates? I've found recorder.xft and RecordingTemplate.rxrec but I can't add my own? Thanks.

Hey,
There is no way for creating a template file for recordings.
But in my opinion, this is not necessary, since you can simply reuse a recording multiple times in a project. if you have specific sequences of e.g. clicks that need to be performed at multiple parts of your test, you can simply create a recording with these steps and re-use it.

What exactly are you hoping to achieve? You can create a copy of recorder.xft and modify its content. Then if you try to add a new item to solution, you should be able to see original recording and new recording template in the list of available items. So yes, it's possible to create a new recording template. The question is, if its enough for you?
