How to call other project recording modules in other project

Good afternoon Folks,

I am on fire today I reckon. Here is something to the experts.

I am still new to Ranorex. We intend to create a few standard project with recordings that will be used commonly by other projects. I am not sure how to call a recording from one project to another complete different project.

I have done enough research and somehow I dont seem to find solutions.

Any of the expert advice swiftly, would be solemnly appreciated.

Hi Ram_Sankar,

Just import the project into your "main" solution.
Just right click on the Solution and select Add-> Existing project. See screenshot.

The imported recordings will be shown in your project explorer, and in your module browser as well.

Some more note on the projects that will be used by others:
- it could make sense if you create those projects as a Class Library
- the project's type can be changed among the projects' properties (right click on project and select Properties). See screenshot. The default project ranorex creates is a Console application type.
