How to check for the existence of a IE Scrollbar

Post by rohitgupta » Fri Jul 10, 2015 5:57 am

Hi,

Before posting this I have gone through the other posts with same issue. However, I got a workaround and now I am able to scroll Left, Right, Up and down. I am using screen rectangle properties to do it. The only point am stuck is to see whether the horizontal scroll bar is present in the frame or not.
My scenarios is :- Check for the existence of a column in a table. If column doesn't exist in the current frame there is a scroll bar then scroll to right and check column comes up or not. Repeat this till the table is reaches its right most column.

Thanks

Hi,

It would be much easier to help you if you post some more details about your AUT.
The most important one is Ranorex Snapshot. Very helpful would be also an HTML sample. If you cannot post your original HTML table, try to create a sample here:
http://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp ... html_table
Please state also IE, OS and Ranorex version. Thank you.

Please add these details to your questions:

  • Ranorex xPath of problematic element(s)
  • Ranorex version
  • OS version
  • HW configuration
