How to generate Reports after execution via Scheduld Task

Post by Joker » Fri Jan 13, 2012 2:00 pm

Hi,

my problem is Ranorex dose not generate Reports while the testsuite.exe is started via scheduld task or any other trigger. If I doubleclick the *.exe it generates all the default report files as well as the user coded things.
Paths and setting are the default values. So as I understand it, it shoudent be a different how or who the exe is execut... rigth?

Please dont tell me to read or look in the forum/manuall (i did my homework for a couple of days now) but didn't find any solution.

Thanks in advance Thomas

Have you set the working directory for the Task Action in the Windows Scheduler?
By default, if you do not provide an absolute path, Ranorex stores the report in the current working directory. (The default working directory of task started by the Windows Scheduler is usually not the directory of the started executable.)
