How to run only selected iterations from Data Source

Post by joyarjit » Fri Oct 13, 2017 6:45 am

Hi,

I have 5 rows in my data source sheet and i want to iterate my test only 2 times(not 5 times) for 1st and 3rd row of data sheet.
Could you please help me with that.

Regards,

Hi,

So all you need to do is to limit the data range, either via data source GUI or via code (as discussed for example here).

You set this in Ranorex Studio
dr.png
dr.png (12.79 KiB) Viewed 496 times
Or at execution via CLI

Code: Select all

ApplicationName.exe /tcdr:DataSourceName=1-3

Thanks,

Could you please elaborate a bit on how can we do same thing at run time with the help of coding?

Regards.

Hi,

Have you checked the link from my post? I guess not, because in this post, you can find EXACT code how to change the data range from code. Please check the link and if you are still in doubts, don't hesitate to ask ;)
