Identifying DevExpress ribbon page buttons

Post by BasantKumar » Mon Sep 01, 2014 6:14 pm

Hi,

My application is developed based on WPF by using DevExpress controls, we ran into following problem by using Ranorex Studio to automate my application.

When default RibbonPage is displayed, we are able to identify all the buttons on that ribbonpage in Ranorex spy, but when we select another Ribbonpage then even though new buttons are displayed on UI, we are not able to see any buttons/objects from this new Ribbonpage in Ranorex spy. it is still able to see default Ribbonpage buttons :(

PFA snapshot files for these ribbon buttons.

Case1: Default Page is Tab1(Configure InBound).
I am able to recognize all buttons(ex: Define Source, Define Schema, Add, Edit...) inside tab1 page but unable to recognize buttons(Configure Transformation, Define SDD, Add, Edit...) inside tab2page.

Case2: Default Page is Tab2(Configure Transformation).
I am unable to recognize buttons(ex: Define Source, Define Schema, Add, Edit...) inside tab1 page but able to recognize buttons(Configure Transformation, Define SDD, Add, Edit...) inside tab2 page.
Could you please some one help me for this problem?

Thanks,
Basant

I made some changes in Ribbon controls property and it is now working fine.

These changes are suggested by DevExpress support team.
