IE 10 Object Recognition in incorrect location

Post by Chase » Tue Feb 11, 2014 6:18 pm

I have recently run into issues with IE and object locations. All elements that I track and elements that have been previously added to my repository are off by a number of pixels. This only happens in IE (using 10) and I was hoping this was some simple setting that can be changed but was unable to find any information on it. The attached image shows an example.

win 7 Pro service pack 1
Ranorex version 4.1.5

Hi Chase,

Please try to disable the setting „Search by unique ID“ within the global settings dialog.
