Hi,
I am totally new in Ranorex-testing and would like to test iOS Apps. For geeting the most out of the trial phase, I would like to prepare my infrastructure.
Therefor I have the following questions:
From the “Test Automation Guide” I have the following:
Choose ’iOS (iPhone, iPad)’ and start your instrumented app on your device.
Can I get the instrumented app in a build and install the app on other devices and test there also? Or can I test only on the devise with XCode environment?
Could I use as test driver (machines on which Ranorex is installed) Windows an iOS devices?
Thanks
Jam

Re: infrastructure
Hi Jam,
Unfortunately I am not exactly sure if I understand your question correctly, but in order to instrument the app you will need the XCode project of your app. In order to deploy the instrumented app (IPA) you can also use the instrumentation wizard as described on our website. Please note that you have to make sure that the same provisioning profile is installed on each device.
Please let me know if you need more information or assistance.
Regards,
Bernhard

Re: infrastructure
Hi,
thanks for the answer. I have overread that I can deploy the APP after having it instrumented.
Thanks
