Hi svelaga,

I’m afraid that the “[INSTALL_FAILED_SHARED_USER_INCOMPATIBLE]” error is not related to Ranorex. It seems the problem is related to the shared user ID in your application. May I ask you if the app was signed with a special certificate?

Yes, it uses the special certificate
and we have given the keystore parameter with the valid .jks file (all the required credentials for device certificate are given) while instrumenting the .apk using Ranorex wizard

When we try to install the apk file using adb install commands .. it is installed fine
but when we try to do the instrumentaion process it fails to deploy

we tried to instrumenting through Wizard as well as manually .. yet both were not working
giving the error as " INSTALL_FAILED_SHARED_USER_INCOMPATIABLE"

Hi svelaga,

Since this problem seems to be very specific, I'd suggest continuing the discussion by email.

After we've found the source of the problem, we can update this post with our solution.
