Hello,
Just joined your Forum a few minutes ago.
Our company is kind of looking for a test tool to use for automating apps on the iPads.
Will that be possible using Ranorex on PC running on Windows 7?
If so, then I would definitely recommend your tool to our boss.
Thanks.
Gilbert

Yes, testing of iOS (iPad) apps can be run from Windows 7 using Ranorex.gilbar wrote:Our company is kind of looking for a test tool to use for automating apps on the iPads.

There's one prerequisite: You need to instrument the app before and you will need a Mac to do that running Xcode. You might want to read the following chapter in the Ranorex User Guide:

Thank you Alex.
One of our guys is already doing eval on Telerik Test Studio. Can you maybe give any advantages of Ranorex over Telerik's Test Studio?
Thanks again.

Hello gilbar,
Unfortunately I have no experience with the Telerik Test Studio, but maybe some other users in our forum can explain some differences.

Bernhard
