iOS6 UISwitch

Post by tgroeger » Thu Dec 12, 2013 4:17 pm

Dear Ranorex Support Team and everyone else reading,

I recently had to automate a GUI-test for iOS7 and 6, which has to use an UISwitch as part of it. While simply touching the UISwitch makes it toggle its status as intended in iOS7, it does not do the same in iOS6. In fact it doesn't do anything in iOS6.

Is there a way to fix this or to get the state of the UISwitch to toggle using another capability of Ranorex? I've been using Ranorex v.4.1.3, and an iPhone5 running iOS6 when I ran into the problem.

Hi,

May I ask you to post or send us (to [email protected]) two Ranorex snapshot files of the UISwitch control?
One from the iOS6 and one from the iOS7 device.
The following link will show you how to generate a snapshot file: Creating Ranorex Snapshot Files.
It would also be great if you could send us the app.
These files will allow us to analyze the issue in detail!

Thanks,
Markus
