Iterations blocked

Post by aktest » Tue Mar 31, 2015 4:32 pm

Hi,
I'm trying to create a data-driven test using SimpleDataConnector. Now while running test in 1st iteration I'm getting some application exception which i'm handling using try-catch, but my test is still stopping after 1st iteration and report shows Iteration1 - Failed and other iterations as blocked.

Not sure what am i missing here, want to continue with all iterations even if any iteration fails.
Note: Test is executing all Iterations if there's no exception.

Ranorex version - 5.1.3
OS - Win 7 Ultimate (32 bit)

Thank you,

You need to set the continue on failure behavior for the test case. Right-click the test case and mouse-over the "Error Behavior". Then, select the appropriate setting for your needs.

For information on these settings see the User Guide here.

Hi,

You need to set the Test Case error behavior to "Continue with iteration". For more info see this user guide chapter...

Thanks for the reply, yes the Error behavior setting was the issue, changing it to 'continue with iteration' worked.
I guess i got confused between 'Continue with iteration' and 'Continue with Siblings' options when i read it earlier.

Thanks again :)
